SBA loan calculators

These two calculators estimate an SBA 7(a) or SBA Express payment, and an SBA 504 project split between the borrower, a bank, and a CDC. Each result is an estimate. Your lender or CDC sets the rate and fees.

Estimate as of Oct 2026. Actual rates and fees are set by the lender, and SBA rules change.

How we calculate this

The monthly payment uses standard amortization: payment = principal × monthly rate ÷ (1 − (1 + monthly rate) ^ −months). A 0% rate spreads the principal evenly. A $0 amount is a $0 payment. Dollars round to the nearest $1. The 504 estimate amortizes the bank portion and the CDC portion separately.

The FY2027 upfront guaranty fee schedule was not on sba.gov on October 27, 2026, so this page does not fill those percents in. The October 2026 504 debenture rate was not on sba.gov either. Enter the rate your CDC quotes.
